Your ship orbits a planet. You tap once to let go, and after that it is momentum and gravity and whatever you can talk yourself into. Catch the next planet, or the one past it. One tap is the whole control scheme. It is free, it runs in a browser with no download, and it works on a phone.
Hyperspace destinations are not invented. There are 1,359 real stars in the game, taken from the HYG catalog at their true distances and bearings — Alpha Centauri at 4.4 light years, Sirius at 8.6, Tau Ceti at 11.9, Vega at 25, Peacock at 178.8. Aim a jump at where Sirius actually is and you arrive at Sirius. Distance is banked in real light seconds and reads out in light years.
Also in the game: a daily challenge course that is the same for everyone, a global leaderboard, a hangar of ships and paint to unlock, a roster of 61 pilots with their own voices, and a twenty-track soundtrack by the Servo Rats. It is in open beta and actively being worked on.
